He flies so high above the clouds;
So high above the roaring crowds.
He soars past galaxies and stars,
Over the buildings, stores and cars.
He soars under the shiny moon,
Which floats in the sky like a lost balloon.
He flies so quietly through the sky:
Upon pegasus’ back, I’d like to ride.
His fur is creamy just like milk,
And, to feel, it’s just like silk.
Pegasus is loyal and very wise:
Traits which are reflected within his eyes.
A great maned horse with a mane of gold,
He is brave in spirit and fearless bold.
He soars through the sky on sparkling wings.
His magical hooves set forth new springs.
Many wondrous wars has he endured,
But through it all, his heart stays pure.
With his comrades, he is gentle and mild,
But to his enemies, he is a warrior wild.
Inside, his spirit is brimming with fire;
By him, many people have felt inspired.
Some thought pegasus was only a myth,
But I know that pegasus still exists.
